Krejcikova is the only seed left in the QF, 3 seeds lost in R1 and 4 in R2.

Barbora hit the ball through the net in the last game played.

... and they acknowledged it and Ms Burrage got the point, but it looked to me like the umpire initially told her that she had seen the ball hit the net and go over. A bit unfortunate, as the last thing anyone really needs is an umpire that imagines events.

Harriet and Jodie had their chances to beat her. Shows how random this event  is.. Maybe a long shot but we could have a repeat of the 2021 French final. It would  be good for tennis if Alex Eala could win

I mean she was struggling big time with niggles in her two matches, both of which the Brits should have won, and was very clearly hampered. Not a surprise that after going long yesterday she's not taking any risks before Wimbledon. Just makes it all the more frustrating as we should have had a British quarterfinalist here.

Maya Joint advances to the semis after a further bout of finish line jitters. She lead Anna Blinkova 5-2 in the final set just as she lead Emma by the same score yesterday but it went on to be decided by a tie break. Blinkova pulled it back to 5 all today but couldn't prevent Joint advancing.

The way it's going it could be Joint v Eala in the final.
