Against a server like Opelka, few chances, good effort though

Shame for George but think that's just more to show he can be at that level! One thing he needs is that getting over the line ruthlessness but hopefully it'll come!

Ohh dear today is becoming one of the most frustrating days of GB tennis! It's one thing losing loads but another losing loads from winning positions... great chances going by the minute.

Weve talked about it before that it seems a particularly British player trait, a lack of something other countries seem to have - but I saw stats somewhere that it is not the case and it is just we are viewing life from our perspective.

Either way- very frustrating.

And I see JPJ is one set all now.

And a break down! Lost 6 games in a row... JPJ is playing good opposition I do get it and it's not a GB thing as a whole just a reason I guess why some don't go as high as others ranking wise for any country.

And it shows how well players like Jack D, Cam, Jake, Evo, Billy even - Andy of course!- have done to reach the heights in this most capricious of sports

It's not easy at all I play a bit and confidence and nerves affect you even then let along on big occasions and make huge differences if your better at that! Sonay in particular seems to have it!

Just between 3-1 up in the first set to the middle of set 3 he was great! Needs less doubles though... but good effort overall.

Shame for Cam, but go Billy for taking his chance!

Well done Billy Harris. It's never easy to close out against the ultra-competitive Cam even when he isn't playing at his best.

Indeed, though Cam will still be annoyed that he couldn't take any of the 4 breakpoints he had when Billy served for the match

No - he had wins at Queens and Eastbourne last year over top 100 players

Jake in control at 6-2 4*-1 against Cobolli (who lost to Billy here last year)
