seems to me that the LTA are missing a trick by making this tournament, which is probably the biggest event of the year for all participants, so very low-key.

it could and should be the pinnacle of all British domestic competitions. and indeed, it is - but it seems to be swept under the carpet.

Thanks Lambda. Hard to tell who will come through this without seeing the draw. A few names missing that I would have thought would have been there in recent years - but not ones I would expect to stand a chance in the main qualifying draw. It will be interesting to see the draw once the LTA wake up this morning
