Presumably they will put Giles and Anton on the next court to finish. Should be plenty of time to finish but cant afford to wait for their allotted original court
PQQF: James Story WR 561 vs (pq3) Charles Broom WR 439
*****
PQR1: Kyle Edmund WR 476 defeated Harry Wendelken WR 494 by 4-6 7-6(3) 7-6(10-3) _______________________________________________________________________________________________________
PQR1: Liam Broady WR 595 defeated (pq4) Stuart Parker WR 443 by 6-4 6-7(1) 6-2
In all eight of the men's matches, I think the outcome was what would have been predicted. In seven matches, the higher-ranked player won.
The only exception was Broady beating Parker but I think that would have been the prior prediction. When players are roughly at the same level,
I would favour the one who has reached the greater heights. Obviously Broady has had a much greater career than Parker.
all of those feel toss ups to me. Instinct would go Ali v Charlie and Giles v Liam as the semis, but Id happily agree with anyone who sees the other 4 getting through.

Agree with 3 id only put Giles as fav over Kyle I think Ali should be fine the other two could be close...

I think that when matchups are close, the player who has reached the greater heights has a significant edge. So I'd back Kyle (a former top 20 player of course) to not only beat Giles but to

co-win the entire event.
Time will tell! I don't see that as close Giles in my eyes has been looking better so far but only one way to find out :) PS I quite hope you are right id love Kyle to get through!
