It's at Didsbury, which used to hold challengers and ITF events, but seems to be a new event.
Strange that next week, Edinburgh holds a clay event...

Half of R1 has been comleted , in boys and girls

No real news except:

The Japanese interloper has now been defeated and it'll now be an all-GB last 16

I guessing Annabel is only playing a J30 as it is local to her.

 Well, she's only 3rd seed

Sakino will definitely give her a match style that she's not used to

GIRLS

Well done to Rosie for taking out the second seed

As expected, 13 year-old prodigious Sakino proved too strong for Annabel, but it took three sets

The doubles final will be:

Sakino & Milica v Rosie & Sophie Ryland

BOYS

With Alfie and Preston battling for singles honours, it's nice that it's different names in the doubles

Final: Charlie Harvey & Casey Unitt v Alex Mirrington & Brandon Ratanavong
