Hope it's nowt serious.

 Yes, hope they're both OK

But I'm pleased - two brits beats one brit, after all

And Marcus and David better not retire now smile

At least Luke & Sander have a shot, with their Q WC. And not really making great use of that so far, having lost the first set to Dan & Henry 2-6.

Except that it's Dan & Henry who were awarded the qWC.  Luke & Sander were the q1s.  wink

True. Still fair point made, err if you just bypass the "with their Q WC" bit

Presumably whatever it was that stopped Luke playing with Sander in NL last week was what caused the retirement this weekend? i e problem for Luke?

No great surprise.  Bops & Gillé will play Mensik & Rune in the first round.   I'd have given Luke & Sander a better chance of beating those two than Dan & Henry.

Luke slipped and injured either his thumb or wrist.

Apparently Court 1 which is to the side of the big stands on Centre Court has a massive problem where after 3pm ish the shadows come on and get greasy. For a few years players have been slipping and having bad injuries.

They can't really not play matches on that court as it's the only outside court with a stand but there is room on another court and the should have put that stand on there.

Luke is having a scan to check whether its just a sprain or a fracture.

Oh gosh. What was wrong with him last week, when he skipped the week but Sander still played?

I was on that court yesterday and Pavic slipped at least twice in that corner.

Loving watching a bit of Marcus & David

Taking the first set

You forget about Marcus' out wide lefty serve - it's got the French guys bamboozled - they know exactly where it's going but there's nothing they can do about it

Mind you, don't know whether our lads can keep it up

It's on Tennis TV - which is the only tennis subscription I have - pretty cheap, compared to others

You can also get it on Bet365
