Heather left her best tennis in London as well. Never in contention and loses 6-4 6-1.
Todoni and JeanJean would be amongst the best draws you could get at Wimbledon so for both to lose so easily here is frustrating. But with Heather I guess bringing the level she had for a second week was always unlikely.
Hannah could certainly be horribly outfoxed by Poots, but at least she shouldn't be blown off the court power wise.
I actually think in terms of getting a tough draw against a top player this is a very good one to measure yourself and see where you are at against that level, and what you need to work on. As Poots will find and exploit your weaknesses horribly.
A test she and her team should be relishing. Certainly less pressure than Mimi who you look at that draw and think 'yes, there's a real shot there'.
Both Harriet and Fran could do with a win, so at least one will get one. Katie's draw is a massive banana skin.

Both looked pretty flat to be honest. Poor stuff.
To be honest Heather left her best tennis behind in around 2020. Is it just 2 or 3 wins at the full WTA level in the past 12 months? Jodie is so frustrating. A lot of potential but I do feel she let's her temperament get in the way. She's sometimes very hard on herself on court when things aren't going her way.
Daresay they will both be at Wimbledon. Missed opportunity to get some decent time on court for both though.
Sadly sat watching courtside a poor day for Jodie and Hev. But first time sat watching Mika and a good display from her. Was impressed with her game and still much more to add with time.
