Dang for Dan but a good win in round one and hell be happy. Hope he is in Eastbourne to continue with another win or two.

Possitive from Dan still it was very tight and loads of close games.

Dan's always a great watch. Win or lose. Unfortunately today his first serve went missing for much of the match, especially in the first set.

Well, Diallo got well beaten by Lehecka, Lehecka looked very much in control.

Jake started well but Moutet really had the second in control all the way. Hopefully Jake can pull back round

Jake seemed to go to pieces in that second set, then regrouped well in the third!  His first QF at Tour level!  biggrin  Moutet's a pain in the arse!  Too many histrionics!

*****

QF:  Jiri Lehecka (CZE) WR 30 (CH = 22 in February) vs Jacob Fearnley WR 60

Great win for Jake - his serve went AWOL in the second set, but he found it again for the decider!!

Great to see Jake get to the QF to be fair not a bad match up for the QF.

Lehecka has won both matches for total loss of 12 games including AdM. Wont be easy!

Watching Carlos earlier I noticed he was asking the ball kid for his towel. I thought the powers that be had ruled they couldnt do this any more and had to fetch their own towel from the boxes. Have I got that wrong?

It isn't just Carlitos.  They're ALL doing it!  Lazy sods.  I commented on it a couple of days ago.  I think it's a bad idea.  furious

Nice one Jake. Really dug in after the second set. This guy really has guts and determination.
