Yes, though getting a point for being there, particularly as a WC, is a longstanding WTA nonsense of course.

But interesting, and looks to me a good choice of QWCs.

So many WTA events this week and 3 big challengers mean lots of opportunities for sneaking into qualies of higher events. Amazing Alice got in by ranking!

Wild cards aren't listed yet although a low cut-off for a WTA500.

 Assuming the GB juniors all have wild cards that would make the cut-off Lin Zhu at WR293 EXCEPT Alice is in and Hodzic. I still haven't tracked down who has wild cards though - the LTA and the WTA are very reticent to divule any information (I only confirmed the seedings from the WTA order of play)

$5,185 is quite a nice little pay cheque for those juniors(well, for all of them, tbh, but for the juniors in particular, assuming they can take it, which - I guess - Dani won't be able to if she's off to college - she'll be busting her limits very easily)

The Aranga/Bucsa section looks like one where someone could have taken advantage - but I wouldnt fancy it being Lily or Alice.

Reckon Heather could qualify

Good effort from Dani but just falls short losing her opening set 5-7.

Brooke competing well at *3-4 but sense Zhang is biding her time.
