I think Chidekh next will be a really interesting test of where he can get to - no doubt the underdog, as will Giles be versus Simakin, but interesting challenges for both
I've just found a more "official"-looking key on Wiki to "CO" & "NG" which confirms what others have already said on this & the Tbilisi Challenger thread, where I first queried them:
- College Accelerator Programme entrant &
- Next Gen Accelerator Programme entrant.
I also discovered the difference between a "JE" & a "JR", both of which I see frequently on ITF draw sheets & the difference between which I struggled to understand (not any more, though! ):
- JE = "junior exempt": high-ranking junior players can be awarded a spot in the draw of a tournament through the ITF's junior exempt project, while
- JR = "junior ranking": high-ranking junior players can be awarded a spot in the main draw of a Challenger tournament through the ITF Junior Accelerator Programme, which replaced the junior exempt project. Such players are accepted on the basis of their ITF top 100 junior ranking.
