Now Indy's gonna be threatening to leave the board....
Please can everyone just avoid deleting their accounts until we've sorted the weird activeboard new members issue, and then it's all good, anyone who leaves can safely rejoin again later once they've cooled off

If mods censor things said in polite language, said with thought and reason, because they simply think they might offend someone, then I would leave
So I'll go back and look at the old posts
If they have done, and I do not think for one second they have (confirmed by Sheddie) they should not be a mod.....dont you go Coup!
good to know - storm in a teacup hopefully!
One or two members have deleted some text from earlieir comments. As Sheddie says, mods have deleted nothing here.
Please folk be careful to try and avoid ambiguities and others also to watch overreacting to possible misunderstandings. It's hot ( well lovely up Aviemore way this week ), folk are maye a bit more jumpy than usual. Calm ...

I don't believe I was overreacting, nor did I refer to a specific post, nor did I ask for any post to be deleted. If people are free to make respectful comments about Harriet Dart's individual behaviour, then we should also be free to make respectful comments about individual posts.
In fact one particular post that made me uncomfortable has been deleted by the author so no need for further speculation on whether a moderator deleted the post and what the consequences would be for the future of the board.
If I ever felt that a particular post was breaking the rules of the board, I would not make an oblique comment about posts in general but report directly to a moderator.

Ha. Anyways if I go quiet it's purely because I'm on holiday. Back home on Saturday, hopefully to catch up with plenty tennis comments here and elsewhere.
