Kristina Penickova has just won 2 & 2 so Katy is now on court against Annika (who knocked out Ella yesterday)

Yeh !!!!!

As said, I'm not a huge fan of the twins, they play well obviosuly but it's all rather one-dimensional

ALSO, they're both home-schooled in the US, apparently, by their grandmother, who is Czech, and the two girls are homeschooled in Czech

It doesn't seem right to me ..... not that it's hugely relevant

It's another step on the road back for Katy. Five wins this week so far and only one set dropped.
No seeds left in the draw and the two top ranked players are WR899 and 900.

Katy has taken the first set in a TB against wunder-twin #2

Is a break down in the second but has a break-back point

Match now supsended, presumably for weather

Four breaks each in that first set.

Katy confirmed to me yesterday that both twins hit a huge, clean ball but as CD says are one-dimensional. Annika didn't even hit any vollies in the warm-up !

Glad I was reasonably on song

What is strange, though, is the the twins are very good at doubles

They won the w15 title last week, I think it was, and do great in juniors

Obviously, with one being left-handed and the other being right-handed, and having played together all their life, they've got a big advantage

So you'd expect a bit more variation in their games

But no....
