There's a bit of a Williams sisters thing going on with them

One week Kristina and Annika were due to play in R2 and Annika withdrew, although they carried on in doubles

(Kristina made the final)

And then they were due to play each other in R1 the following week and Annika won (eyesbrows raised)

It doesn't really matter but it's all grist for the gossip-mongers mill

She made a run to the Wimbledon junior quarterfinals a couple of years ago! Great run from a player who never made the top 100 in juniors.
