Yes I watched the match and it was a struggle but as you say he got over the line and impressively held in the penultimate game from 0-40 on his serve.

I watched as well and at 0-40 thought he was down and out given he hadn't looked like breaking before! Then clutch held and broke... big few months for him!

Henning has played a number of Brits recently in various ITF events with mixed results incl losing to Luke Hooper, Giles Hussey, Jan Choinski, but beating Harry W and Giles H (played him twice)

I think I hoped JoMo would see him off easier but they all count!

Also, takes JoMo to a new CH (each win this week will take him higher) at 241 in the live ranks

I suspect a couple more wins this week and in the grass season will be enough to get him a main draw wildcard. Similarly, I think Jubb and Clarke are in the same boat in that they need some challenger wins (Clarke this week, Jubb next week) with some grass wins as well. Thats with Harris, Choinski and Evans guaranteed. The only ones I see possibly breaking into this are Loffhagen and Searle, but with some really good results as they step into the challenger space (really good in Searles case).

This is probably for another thread (I can feel a wildcard thread coming and I know how controversial the topic sometimes is - but its fun!). However, I watched the Monday match and, while fortunate to get over the line, he had a pleasing game and showed a good mental approach to drag out a win from some significant adversity.

Looks like Charlie Robertson has pulled out after all - he isnt showing on the entry list anymore, replaced by LL Maximus Jones

These results are as good as what we could have expected, going to ranking .. Henry pulling off a win .. although it's a Damm shame for Toby to have lost, he put up a good performance
