Hopefully I can give her the kiss of life .. ahem .. Jodie has no chance of winning that!
Chloé Paquet has just played the #1 seed in the W125 Trophée Clarins - never stood a chance - was getting thrashed - and suddenly Anisomova missed a couple of BPs, switched off, lost the second set - and walked off
Thought for a moment they were drawn against their opponents in the Paris WTA125 final, but Fanny has a different partner this week.
Again, just outside the seedings
Kessler didn't look that confident on clay the other day but hardly a surprise result. Maybe Jodie would have been better going to Rabat where the standard is quite a bit lower on the whole.

I agree, but perhaps Jodie prefers to be nearer her home in the south of France before returning to England for the grass court season

Maybe but her partner is based in France so wonder if she was trying to make the best out of being close(ish) for a few weeks.

Possibly. Obviously the money is better too. However, Rabat isn't exactly miles away and she's hardly played any matches in the last 6 weeks. Also the grass court season is coming so i guess they will be together then too. I guess it just depends what your priorities are. She will probably struggle in Paris whatever the case happens in the run up and then will have a full grass court season to pick up wins and points.
