Had to Google the spelling. It's lackadaisical. Can't believe it's not lacksadaisical or laxadaisical. That's always how I've pronounced it. So thank you CD for helping me grow today.

It looks like she needs to get over 60 points to make any gains.

She has 2 zero pointers from Doha and Dubai which don't help

Correct - she has to reach the final for it to become a counter. But with 250 points from Nottingham and 108 from Eastbourne soon to drop off, every extra point may be important.

Just missed out on seeding (only 2 seeds in an eight team draw)

QF:- Tereza Mihalikova (SVK) / Olivia Nicholls (GBR) CR66 (34+32) v Miyu Kato (JPN) / Aldila Sutjiadi (INA) CR74 (33+41)

They need the title to impove their rankings, so this is more about clay court match practice ! wink

Seeding wouldn't have helped them. Really tough and experienced opponents although they haven't won a match since reforming.

Who knows ? The draw would look different if they were seeded 2. But yes, they are facing a tough match

I think it's all about any match wins on clay at this stage. Saville always a tricky opponent...and then potentially Sonay!
