Week 20 - ITF M25 - Reggio Emilia, Italy (clay)

Looking forward to watching some of this one!

Both very much need the win and the points, no idea who I'm rooting for.

Who to support on this one ?

Good they are both still in to make the decision one that needs to be considered. My view is to rejoice whoever wins!

Of course, you wouldn't want to jinx either of them!

Managed to see bits of the match. Looked like a very low-key affair. Just hope that now Kyle has won, he can go on and take advantage of the opportunity.

What do you mean by "low key", Bob?

To be fair, I only watched a couple of games early in the 2nd set but neither player seemed that fired up.  Perhaps I just watched the wrong part, or maybe it was just the result of how difficult it is to play against friends.  The lack of any spectators also doesn't help.

But breaks down in the quarters:

QF:  (WC/8) Alex Molcan (SVK) WR 505 defeated Felix Gill WR 595 by 3 & 4

Exactly what I thought .. i tuned in, eager to see them, but it had all the edge of a friendly game in the park tennis courts .. Kyle was constantly flexing his left leg and wasn't moving great. Pleased he won though
