L32:  (1) Martin Klizan (SVK) WR 325 (CH = 24 in April 2014 - he's now 35!) vs Felix Gill WR 595 (CH = 302 last August)  bleh

L32:  Kyle Edmund WR 512 (CH = 14 in October 2018) vs Luca Potenza (ITA) WR 575 (CH = 437 in October 2022)

L32:  Liam Broady WR 632 (CH = 93 in September 2023) vs (WC) Daniel Bagnolini (ITA) WR 2081 (CH = 873 last May)

L32:  Kyle Edmund WR 512 defeated Luca Potenza (ITA) WR 575 by 3 & 2  smile

I gave up on this earlier in the day, when play on Liam's match was suspended at 2-2 in the first set, I presume because of the weather.  Did they then go indoors?

Didn't expect this from Kyle! He had someone with him last week as I watched bits of his second round match - looked like a coach, who he was looking to for regular support.

 biggrin really pleased Kyle's won at a comparative level. It would be great if he could string 2 or 3 together to build some match strength

For info, Edmund beat Luca Potenza (WR 575) rather than Molcan. No comment on the quality of opponent which is the same, but Molcan is still in the draw and could play Gill next if they both win their next matches.

 There have been positives from Felix in the early rounds over the last few weeks, but he has struggled to put back to back victories.

This is fairly comment for playersxwho have been out for a while and try to get back to match fitness
