All three are into the QFs in doubles

However, him and his partner beat the top seeds in doubles

J100 Costa Rica

Rafe Samuel has won through to the SFs in singles, and the final in the doubles :)

J60 Spain

Huge kudos to Sofia, age 14, born 2011, who beat the 2nd seed, JR 583 !

She's now into the SF

After her pretty amazing exploits at the Super Cat 14U TE event recently, this is just the sort of follow-up we'd been hoping for

J60 Hungary

Henry Best still going in singles and dubs

J60 Latvia

Eric Lorimer (2010) has made it through to the final, in both singles and doubles

J30 Finland

Oliver Page is the last player standing, into the singles SFs

All over for Darsh in the Ivory Coast

J30 Tunisia

R2 win for Giselle Jolie Fiorentino, and she's into the SFs in doubles

Wow !

J60 Latvia

BOYS FINAL: Eric Lorimer (2010) def. (EST) 4-6 6-2 7-6(2)

That's a great title for Eric, his first singles title, I believe

He came up just short in the boys doubles final though

Its a shame Sofia hasnt entered the grass grade 1. Would have liked to see her against the other 14U players and would have given her the opportunity to have a place in the 14U event at Wimbledon
Everyone else you would expect to be there has entered (Grace, Millica, Leah, Hermione etc)
No Megan but with a wildcard into the proper junior event there is no need to her to worry about 14U

Sofia has entered Spanish ITFs for the next 3 weeks, including the week of the East Gloucestershire Grade 1 event. It may just be that she is doing a block of ITFs before returning to Under 14 events for the Torneo Avennire Super Category and/or the Raynes Park Category 1 qualifier for Wimbledon - or she may have opted to concentrate on under 18 events from now on, having claimed a TE Super Category title.  The entry lists for the latter 2 events will be out in the next 10 days.

But, again, an excellent week

14 year-old Giselle Fiorentino lost, 6-1 4-6 6-4, against the top seed, in her SF

Which will be her second biggest counter

Not sure where to post this as I couldn't find a relevant thread (and rarely venture in this section anyway).

I see that Lilia Saad has won the U14 Tennis Europe Cat 3 in Norway this week. Only came to my notice as she lists Mike James, Dom King and Everyball Tennis among her team.

Congrats to Lilia !

(and, yes, the 'other' section is a bit of a catch-all so is the perfect place )
