Sadly she could not hold on to her lead. She lost the set 5-7

She served for the second set too - but couldn't hold on to the lead again :(

She got it in the tiebreak but I think that might have used up her reserves of physical and emotional energy.

Loses 6-0 in the third after an overall super performance.

Vitalia really doesn't look very happy on the grass - she's a tall girl - it's a long way to bend down and she looks a little scared of falling

She tried her best to give points to Ranah but she wasn't taking them smile. Vitalia has the first set in a tie break.

Absolutely, DF

That set was Ranah's, tied up and with a bow on it

But she said 'no thank you, you have it'

:(

Yeah this really looked a very winnable match for Ranah. But now a break down in the second. Frustrating.

I think Ranah may have picked up an injury?

Wasnt there a MTO, after she had lost 3 games in a row to trail 5-6 in the first?
