Hev and Emily App sounds a nice pairing

Agreed - love this! Surprised so many of the others still going for foreign partners, which presumably reduces wildcard chances.

Two of the three you refer to are regular partnerships so expected. Jodie doesn't often play doubles, but Olivia Gadecki is a good partner and has partnered Freya and Liv this year, and won a W100 with Sutjiadi this year.

I think that splitting up the partnerships to increase the number of wild cards would be a waste of time as it takes time to create a good pair.

And if Hev and Emily gel they could have quite an impact.

I was coming to say the same.

I think Jodie and Olivia (G) live together when in London so I think thats a Brit adjacent pairing!

Wild cards for Heather Watson, Jodie Burrage, Mimi Xu and Marni Banks

Qualifying wild cards for Lily Miyazaki, Emily Appleton, Ella McDonald, and Amelia Rajecki.

I assume Mika and Hannah are playing French juniors?

Maybe she has snuck into the main draw but we have no way of knowing?

Fran rarely plays the grass season - maybe this season, or she will continue to play on European clay.

Seagull - could you edit the thread title - I wasn't planning to start a new thread, unless people think it is necessary.
