Lajovic has been ranked higher, of course, but that is still a little disappointing

There are at least 3 LL spots so he could still be ok.

Regarding Billy and the will he, won't he get in the top hundred. I remember James Ward being in a similar situation a few years ago and without quoting him ad verbatim he did say that it had become a psychological issue, a bit of a distraction if you like. So this may or may no be the case with Billy, I just don't know, but you have to wonder with him being so close on several occasions.
Leaving aside my personal opinions I wish him well, at least a top 100 place should see him into all the Slams.

That's good news. Hopefully he can capitalise on that with a win

Has anyone seen any analysis they can share around Cam's form, or have thoughts or their own? What's changed - technique, injury, speed, intensity? He's not alone in dips in form of course, but this feels like something has changed, and I'm curious to know what that might be.

The serve is the issue and to be fair always has been.

Easy win for Cam.
O'Connell just stood deep and chipped back the serve and Cam thus dominated from the baseline.

Good for Cam to get a win, but it was a soft draw for an LL!

This isn't so soft:

L64:  (LL) Cameron Norrie WR 91 vs (10) Daniil Medvedev (***) WR 11 (CH = 1 in February 2022)

Maybe its what Cam needs? Didnt BJK say it takes 18 months to come back from injury? Good for Cam to test his progress to date. He looked pretty sharp today from what I saw.

L64:  (5) Jack Draper WR 5 vs Luciano Darderi (ITA) WR 46 (CH = 32 last August)

The two have met once before, an encounter in the last 16 in Vienna which Jack won in straight sets (5 & 1) & after that the title, but that was on indoor hard.

So Jake takes the first set 6-2but Fognini looks to have a break in the second set.
