The third J500 of the year has a fairly strong field, with Allegra Korpanec Davies claiming the last of the 16 seeded positions, and fortunate to be in the same section as 2 wildcards and a qualifier, though the qualifier beat her earlier in the month.  Flora Johnson has also selected to play here rather than Aldershot to try to garner points to make the Roland Garros cut. A second J500 doubles title would certainly improve her chances.

Yes, there's livescores here, and it claims livestreams but the stream seem to be showing the wrong courts?

Either way, it would seem that Flora is losing 6-4 3-0 ... :(

Flora's loss against an accomplished home seed was no surprise, but Allegra followed suit, which is disappointing. Their chance of good points therefore rests with the doubles, where they are both (with different partners) low seeds

Dat Korpanec Davies als laatste geplaatst is, kan een enorme meevaller zijn, ook al zorgt haar eerdere nederlaag tegen de kwalificatiespeelster voor wat extra spanning. Op papier zou ze deze sectie zonder problemen moeten doorstaan, maar juniorentoernooien zijn zelden zo overzichtelijk.
