Well done Jack! I managed to watch most of the match. Very entertaining.

Very impressive.

Who would have thought that Jack could be 5e first player this year to win 2 masters 1000 events?

Brilliant by Jack and so impressive that he's comfortable on all sorts of surfaces!

Tim Henman won 1 masters (Paris) and had 3 other finals and 6 slam semis

Greg Rusedski won 1 masters (Paris), had 1 other final, and 1 US Open final.

Jack has one 1 Masters title, 1 final to date, 1 slam semi.

if he wins today, and makes it 2 masters, where would you place him in the list of all time British players?

1. Andy CH 1
2. Fred Perry
3. Tim CH 4
4 Jack? CH 5 to date
5. Greg CH 4

Mark Cox (CH 12)roger Taylor (CH 8) John Lloyd (CH 23) and Buster Mottram (CH 15) never reached these heights (despite
Lloyds AO RU, it was in a very weak field.

Or would second Masters take Jack above Tim?

Or does Gregs USO RU still keep him ahead of Jack for now?

As of right this second, Jack probably sits just a touch behind Greg and Tim, for now

I agree, it's a thing of beauty, particularly the BH down the line

Bit daft to be even trying to place Jack in a list of all time British players at this stage IMHO. I'm just very much enjoying the ride for now.

Swap Andy and Fred around, and Jack and Tim around and youve got a good list

Outside of these 5, Cam Norrie needs to be in the mix. Career high of No.8, won 1 Masters title (Indian Wells), and a Wimbledon SF.

 Literally forgot Cam !

anyway, per Indy and it being a bit daft - maybe, but so many things we discuss here like Wimbledon wild cards are a bit daft, its just a bit of fun, really!

Nah, not like Wimbledon WCs.

Anyway, good as it was to follow Tim and Greg hopefully we will all be judging Jack to have well surpassed them once he's had much more of a career.

Even better if that's not too much more of a career and we at least start wondering if he could be an Andy and Fred challenger.

Fanciful maybe at this stage but that would be great. And I hear that he's going to have at least one Slam under his belt in the next year so that will be a start
