Weeks 22 & 23 - French Open (Roland-Garros) - Paris, France (clay) - men's main draw

Well done, Jake!

I know Wawrinka is 40 now, but he has such a great clay pedigree and Jake doesn't (or is that now: didn't have?) that I thought Wawrinka would edge that in 3 very tight sets. Really enjoyed watching that. Apart from a couple of small wobbles, I thought Jake looked very solid and hit a lot of lovely winners.

And Jakes doubles partner causes an upset over Cerundolo, as Diallo progresses.

Interesting to see how they go in doubles - if they play, of course. Cerundolo was tipped by some pundits as a dark horse for the semis.

Would love to be able to watch, but not really in a financial position to be able to pay an extra £31 a month for TNT sports furious

Try this https://en.sportplus.live/tennis. Select your match and usually stream 2 works best. Sometimes needs to be reloaded but free to view!

Cheers Var will give it a try

Down a break, came back, some really patient but smart play at the end - and takes the set :)

Outstanding endurance getting Norrie a set up. Medvedev clearly frustrated that he isn't dominating Norrie from behind the baseline. Norrie very consistent in the last three games.

DM is not playing his top level.  I sense there is a possibility of an upset.  Cam has an early break in the 2nd

The obvious frustration DN displayed at the end of the first and start of the second has evaporated and been replaced by acceptance.  I can't see him winng this set. Cam leads 4-0.

Two sets up now, 7-5, 6-3. Long way back if Medvedev is going to take this.

I don't think it is yet in the bag for Cam. The second part of that set was very competitive, DM is now showing a much better frame of mind. But as you say Var, it is a lok way back for him from here.

Just listening on the radio, sounds like DM has a problem with a finger or nail.

Slight bleeding from beneath the nail. The sort of thing you get cutting your nails too short I'd say, more a nuisance than anything more.
