Weeks 22 & 23 - French Open (Roland-Garros) - Paris, France (clay) - men's main draw

No way that Monfils will have the legs to play at this level for 5 sets. He is chasing down everything at the moment

Jack over pressing a lot. Just make every ball and keep Monfils running

Looks like jacks got on it again in the third. Gael running out of steam?

Let the match not swing away from Jack again in the fourth. Gael might be fitter than we think.

The Austrian qualifier plays Djokovic in R3.

The draw is falling into place for Djokovic

Oh my, Jack just can't shake Monfils off. 4-2 down in the fourth set.

Would get Cam or Jake in R4. Possibly Zverev in the QF if he can sneak through that.

Quote from Daniela Hantuchova on Radio 5 Live included in the Beeb's live text commentary on the match:

The French crowd is showing literally zero appreciation for Jack Draper's performance.

Typical!  furious

They are typically so bad it kind of becomes part of the RG experience. Not sure just embrace it but it doesn't really annoy me.

He could easily get through the first 3 matches without losing a set and his eye back in. Seems like sacking Andy was a good move!

Gee, Monfils, superb. If it was against anyone but Jack ...

I think Jack will take him down in the 5th, presuming we are going there but but ...
