Same here, Jon. I like Berretini, Gauff and Fernandez but Harri is the one whose results I've looked for (even on the rare occasions when he's not playing with GB players.) And his blog is always very interesting.

Only one player here without a vote. Still too early to see how it will shake out but I think we may see a few ties arising across these groups, for second place at least

With 18 votes in (noting we got around 30 in round one and so are possibly at 2/3rds of the final votes here) and with quite a bit of time left, thought Id summarise where we are:

Vote closes 5 pm this evening - I forgot to switch on the timer on the vote so that will be a manual close!

Yes, still a tight group this one, so c'mon if you have a preference here and haven't voted yet, your vote really could make a difference.

I wonder if I can ask a favour - Indy, perhaps?! -

I definitely won't be around (my wife tells me!) at 5 pm to close this vote or the other groups. Would somebody be able to take it on for me, specifically:

Be on line at 5 pm

Call the results in each of the 4 groups - just say the number of votes placed and the top 2 in each group, or top 2 and ties.

If there is a tie for second place (or 3 or more players for top position), we will need a play off vote

So, then post a play off vote thread (Favourite international player vote - tie break play off Semifinal Group xxxx) and post a time for that to close - I suggest 10 pm or 1030 pm.

I will be back for sure around 10 pm so can then see the result and post the final. IF the tie break group has a draw, then we will break the tie with a coin toss, needs to be done on trust. SO could the person who puts their hand up then do a private toin coss and tell us who wins it?!

Hope that is simple and clear? Let me know (let us all know if that is you willing to do it, anyone so long as you feel confident with the process and technical aspects of posting a poll!).

If not, then I will be back probably around 10 so will need to end up letting it run til then and pushing things back, but I would rather get it done and dusted today!!
