Both Ben & Eero and David & Hamish come in here immediately on the back of Week 10 doubles titles. Switzerland M25 and France M15 respectively. Indeed both Ben and Hamish had good singles weeks too.

And, of course, Hamish played alongside Vasa in Poitiers, while Ben was with Poljak in Trimbach.  wink

Ah, well pointed out SC, particularly as I had in mind that these were the same partnerships as last week ( even though I do have them written down correctly for my week 10 titles post, which has been delayed while George L tries to combat all his opponents and the weather in Portugal ).

Strange the swapping around and all ending up in the same place this week.

Playing with a British partner seems to agree with Mr Poljak!  smile

The top seed, Marat Sharipov, or the French Wunderkind WC, Moïse Kouamé, in the QF...

Knowing the French, they will not accept 'wunderkind'  nosmileno

'L'espoir', or 'jeune prodige', definitely

And even 'la pépite', although it looks more feminine but hey, if you're a nugget of gold, a hidden gem, then I get it's gender neutral

But not wunderkind

I used Wunderkind because that was the first term that sprang to mind, given that it's the one commonly used in English, albeit spelt "wunderkind", which my German language training would not let me do.  The need to use enfant prodige to describe Kouamé never even crossed it.  no

You can use whichever term you like, SC

I was only poking fun at the French
