If you had the chance to watch the match rather than watch a scoreboard I think Tim played very well. Obviously completely outpowered, but the variety of shots made his game a pleasure to watch, a very obvious example of new and old guard tennis.

I hope Tim can turn it around. The plus side of stopping is that taking it to five sets would effectively be just a normal 3 set match (obviously having to win all three sets but the point stands).


I hope it's a really sunny morning tomorrow.

I Armchair sums up what I menat when I said I wasn't worried!


I got worried when he kept losing, but he wasn't playing all that bad.


Tursunov is strong, but he can't always be so accurate. I hope he self destructs in a puddle of his own arrogant humour and lets a real professional win today

1-1. Tursunov is hitting those lines again!!!!!!!!!


I don't get this. He's lost 4 or 5 first rounders on clay, but he's blowing Tim off court.

a lot of the younger players seem to have henman's number these days. lets hope he can stick a spanner in the works.
