It's unusual to see Emily play a 15K. I wonder if this means she's going to concentrate on singles for a while? She isn't playing doubles and points at this level wouldn't help her doubles ranking.

Accoring to OER Emily has 13 counters that are less than 15 (and 7 of less than 3 which is W1f QF), so she has plenty of scope to drop down and collect some points. And she's reached a level now where it isn't worth playing doubles at W50 or below.

Up to 6 points which will do her a world of good - up to 376 on OER. Ella chasing hard. Only another 60-70 places to go for both

We do need a much higher ranked GB #10, be it Emily, Ella (  currently GB #10 & #11, after #9 Marni ) or say one of the youngsters storming through, to help in the 'Strongest Nation' stakes ( a good indicator of top level depth ). Indeed a stronger #9 wouldn't go amiss too. Currently big gaps after #8 Heather WR 209.

Good to see if Emily is going to concentrate more on her singles ( time to try and be all she can be in singles? ) Hopefully initially clean up some W15 points, build confidence, and then move on to being competitive in singles at higher levels.
