Marcus desperately needs a regular partner. Hes back with Scott D next week. No disrespect to Scott but feels like a bit of a backward step for Marcus if he has main tour aspirations

Other than Glasgow, he has hardly won a match all year...

Totally agree, he won't get anywhere with Scott.  Sadly good players don't want to play with Marcus which I have previously blamed on his child like on court antics at Wimbledon where rather than showcasing his talents he played the court jester.  Many disagree with me and my comments were removed (as no doubt this one will be) but I have been proved right.  Look at Christian Harrison, he did ok playing with Marcus but has now teamed up with Evan King and they have emerged as one of the best teams on tour.
I take no pleasure in writing this as Willbomb has given us a great story over the years and I want he to do well but I feel he is reaping what he has sown.

Hmm. I do recall you writing similar previously about Marcus, and some folk disagreeing with you. I certainly don't recall anything that warranted removal in your opinions regarding Marcus and was unaware that anything had been removed. But maybe it escalated in ways I missed / have forgotten, such as say in personal reactions to being disagreed with. Quite clearly, well to my mind, there is nothing remotely close to justifiable removal territory in your post here.

I too wish Marcus could find a regular partner. Be interesting to see if any folk think you do have the big issue there or say, as before, do others think Wimbledon was not the issue that you make out. I wonder if he is in general difficult personality-wise to team up with long term rather than his Wimbledon "antics" being so much of an issue in themselves.

Edit: I have just looked at the Wimbledon mixed doubles thread where you made these points about Marcus, indeed in much more detail in unremoved posts, with some folk disagreeing or at least looking at things from a different standpoint, and there is no outward sign of censorship let alone removal. So unless things went a bit awry other than or after the last visible post, or there is some other discussion, then I still don't understand the removal stuff. Certainly not for vews like expressed here or visibly then:

I've no idea about Marcus and his doubles career or potential or problems

All I know is that he should be thinking about Wimbledon, and thinking about how best to get a wildcard into the main draw of the doubles (teaming with some GB guy? Better chance than finding some foreigner partner? Leave that till after Wimbly?)

Because Wimbly is coming up soon, and it's his chance of big money, and points - and he still has a certain cachet - the AELTC would, I reckon, be quite happy to give him a wildcard if he'd put himself in a decent position

On, thats a heavy loss for Paul. His season doesnt really seem to have got going just yet.

I thought Marcus and David Stevensons partnership perhaps had some potential - perhaps a falling out? Not seen together since David pulled out before their R1 match earlier in the season.
