Henry is a double break up, he serves at 4-1.  He is looking assured.

Didn't see any of the second set and only snippets of the third. His level cratered. If he had been able to maintain the level of the first set, this would have been a routine victory. I watched him DF then miss an easyish smash to lose his serve early in the third. His frustration was clear. Despite this loss, there are positives he can take - his best level is very, very good. If he can maintain anything like the level of the first set, he is too good to be playing futures events. Hersonissos is a double header, there is an identical tournament there next week.   I'm fairly sure that this is a very big club, I think at least 20 courts. He can enjoy some down time, visit thebeach and the museums of Knossos, enjoy some beers as well as train and practice as much as he wants.

Experience definitely came into play in the second

Henry didn't play that much worse - it was about the same for much of it - but his opponent played a lot better, made it difficult, which then got Henry trying to go for just a little bit extra, which is when it broke down - as his opponent knew it would

I didn't watch any of the third as the result was a foregone conclusion

But the second set was very close, he didn't do anything really wrong

He'll play the winner of Stuart's match in the semi.

Pity for Henry. But the encouraging thing is that feeling that his best level is very, very good. That has been my impression from admittedly very limited viewing of him while he has been relatively poor at times

Especially early on in careers, that 'best level' is so important. That can be the basis for a future star, the rest can be worked on.
