Given Shapo's form, probably a better option for Cam. Still - not at all easy

BTW, it is Learner as opposed to Lerner

Sub-consciously trying to make it a more unexceptionable first name, obviously...  Corrected in my original post.

Jon was probably right - just coz Cam lost doesn't mean Tien wasn't the better option

Definitely and I also said it wouldnt be easy for him.

Shapo has been in great form, is a top 20 player for sure, maybe could get higher, and Cam would have most likely lost. he also lost to Tien, obviously, but he should have had a decent shout and its disappointing his poor form continues

Tien is 19 and broke through in the Australian Open, coming through quallies and then making round 4 after beating Medvedev en route. He also made the finals of the Next Gen finals, losing to the wunderkind - Fonesca. Definitely a player whose ranking is likely to go up and up this year.
