Good to see Billy get a couple of wins. Hopefully this Indian trip - I think he has 3 events? - will help his confidence

After Chennai, Billy has New Delhi and Pune, before heading to Acapulco. Hes seeded two or so in the other two Indian events and only a few points to defend; some decent runs these three weeks and he could haul himself back towards that top 100.

Skatov beat Billy 4-6 6-0 6-3 in the US Open qualies, so wont be easy for him at all.

First set Billy, 6-3. Then again, he won the first set last time. But still, good to win the opener!

Skatov has shown very little form since then. Though Billy has relatively dipped too.

On serve in the second set ( 1 break each ), 6-3 *3-3

I hadn't realised that Billy has never won a challenger and has only made one other challenger level final, so it would be huge for him!

Hes the highest ranked current player to never win a challenger so would be a nice milestone to achieve. Of the 4 players on the semis, hes the only seed left. But his poor general form is showing as only 3rd favourite to win the title on tennis abstract.

if he beats Elias Ymer, the final would be Jacquet or Svrcina. All 3 opponents are ranked outside the top 200.

this really should be Billys chance, come on Billy!

Ymer wins the first set TB 7-5. He's a very frustrating opponent to play against, makes a lot of balls and sort of drags you down to his level.
