I will use this thread to update the list of qualifiers as the season progresses. Not intended to be one for much chat, just to keep the list readily available
Obviously, none qualified yet!
In terms of qualifying for Player of the Season, players can qualify through 4 means:
January to December Players of the Month awards - winner and runner up;
Grand Slam winners - players winning GS titles in Mens/womens singles and doubles, mixed doubles, junior boys/girls singles and doubles, wheelchair mens/womens/quad singles and doubles;
GB Number Ones - our year end number ones in mens and womens singles and doubles, junior boys and girls and wheelchair mens, womens and quad singles; and
Wildcards - as per this year, there will be a wild card vote to top the field up to the target number.
Past few seasons we have had 28 players through the above means incl wild cards and hope to land on that again, although it could be anywhere!

With developments in the US Open mixed today, I will take a view nearer the time on whether it is reasonable to call winning the mixed doubles at the US a grand slam title anymore (as opposed to an exhibition) and whether a Brit winning it would count towards PoS qualification.
With the February vote now in play, then by the end of tomorrow at least two new additional names will join the PoS qualifiers. Good luck to all involved.
of the 12 players who have qualified for 2025 PoS so far, 9 of them were in fact in the 2024 PoS vote as well; that is a strong showing from those players. The 3 that weren't in the 2024 event are Oli Bonding, Jay Clarke and Anna McBride - welcome to them for a good season so far and hope they can keep it up!
Also, 4 of this seasons 12 qualifiers so far have achieved in field's outside the main tour - namely in wheelchair and para tennis.
Great to see this board recognising great achievements, wherever they come from in the game.
