I absolutely hate this section
QR1:- Freya Christie (GBR) [2] v Esther Adeshina (GBR)

QR1:- Victoria Allen (GBR) [QWC] v Katherine Barnes (GBR) [11]
I really, really, really want Victoria to get the points she needs to move up the acceptance lists so she can at least start to get into W15s but I want the others to qualify too. It's horrible.

There's no SEs as far as I can tell and Beth withdrew, so Millie and Ranah will be in directly. Alice and Hep look to have WCs.

Eliz has a feed up MDWC available to use in a W35 during the winter swing (as does Ellie Blackford but she's back in the States so won't be using it). Hep and Lois Newberry have feed-up QWCs available to use during this winter swing. Earned from being winners/finalists in December British Tour events.

The other 2 MDWCs I would hazard a guess will be 2 from Eliz, Ciara, Lois and Tegan Bush. And I'd say Tegan more likely as one of them.

Several of the GB players have just finished playing the British Tour event in Edgbaston (the final was yesterday). A good warm-up event.

And won by Victoria Allen

Ciara lost in her first match which isn't the best preparation for a MD wildcard here

Tegan seems a very good shout, Lambda

Marelie had a MP against the top seed - but couldn't win

Needless to day, the ITF livestream (which claims to be covering it) is not working so I've no idea what happened but real shame for Marelie
