(just to be really precise, you can be 18 - but you have to be born in 2007, not before)

Quick question- why does the boys entry only have 4 of the current top 20 entered into it? For a Slam? Does the AO lack currency in junior tennis?

Girls has 12 of top 20 which is better. But why not nearer a full house?

Does Emerson Jones's MD WC mean she can't play the junior AO this year?

I may be wrong but I think she would still be eligible as Iva Jovic did the same thing at US Open.

The boys have 14 of the current top 20 and the girls have 15. The rankings on the acceptance list are at the time of entry last year before the 2006 born were removed from the rankings. Most of the top 20 boys at the time of entry were 2006 born and not eligible for juniors now. There were very few 2006 born in the girls top 20 at the time of entry. Of the current top 20 not playing the slam, most of them will have left juniors behind and gone fully pro.
