British Tour 2025

I see that some of the women were playing club league tennis on grass over the weekend, including Emily Appleton who is playing RG doubles today.

Dylan Davies and Kat Barnes are the top seeds in North Oxford; no big names getting early grass court practice.

As above, the big names are more in the juniors field, and has to be those not involved in RG, so it's the best younger juniors who will have wildcards into Junior Wimbly - Hollie Smart, Dani Britton, Rhys etc etc

Eva Shaw is in there, in top half. I suspect she is the one to beat in the women's draw.

 I truly hope so !

It would be great if Eva was back, on the pro tennis court, injury-free, and chancing her arm biggrin

Lissey, Eden, Freya and Mariam Bolkvadze won the trophy for the Roehampton Club. Can't remember all the team for St George's Hill (Emily App, Emily Arbuthnot, Holly, Lily and one other)

In the North Oxford event:

Hollie Smart beat Mia Wainwright in a final set TB to take the women's title

Jay Johnson-Hauldren took the mens title over Rhys Lawlor, not losing more than 4 games in a set all event

I doubt Jay will get a chance in the bigger tour level grass events, but he clearly has a game for the green stuff
