Surely Jack has this now. 5-2 up.

A very popular win. There's a lot of Brits in the audience.

Bit of a poor performance from Jack. Did I catch 88 unforced errors? 58% first serves. Not unexpected though given his time out and lack of match practice. Will be interesting to see if he is able to make it through the next round.

Accoring to the stats on the AO webpage : 88 unforced errors against 53. But 54 winners against 36. Only 13 aces.
Certainly a few cobwebs and room for improvement in the next round

It's always going to be a large absolute number of UEs, though, if it's a 5-set match

That said, I watched about 20 mins - it wasn't very impressive, it's true

From either player, to be honest

One of those matches that looks like a struggle for both guys - and you get the remote and turn over

The young Next Gen guy taking the first set off Novak was far more fun

(And Andy's career as a coach might be a very short-lived one....)

Good to see Jack came through , phew

And Jake a set up, 7-6 and a break at 3-1 against Kyrgios.

Come on Jake!

Nick Kyrgios coming back after 2 years out with injury, that's a hell of a long time out in tennis terms no matter how they try to hype up his return.

I see that Djoko has dropped his opening set too.

Jake now two sets up and a third set break - even with Nick spending a lot of time out, it will be a good win for Jake with the crowd against him, and a great experience! ANd a good ranking point boost if he can see it through

Djoko is one set all now

3rd set TB for Jake.

Already a rather profitable morning since I put a bet on Nick to win at 50/1 when Jake was up *3-2 deuce in the third. And then cashed out when that turned into *4-5 ( SP against ) and the odds had plummeted.

So def come on Jake !
