Simon Briggs has Jack reaching the 4th round and losing  to Alcaraz there . He has Cam going out in the 1st round and Jacob beating Kyrgios and then losing in the 2nd round.

Early bet365 R1 betting odds. Jack is overwhelming favourite, the other two are odds against.

Jack 1/20 vs Mariano Navone 10/1
Jake 11/10 vs Nick Kyrgios 8/11
Cam 2/1 vs Matteo Berrettini 2/5

Stu Fraser's assessment of the boys' (& the girls') prospects.

Great to see Lebanons Haby Habib win his opener today after qualifying, first ever Lebanese win. Lots of Lebanese in Australia , the Lebanon rugby league team plays in world cups and is basically the Aussie C team.

Congrats to him.

And particulalry to his credit that he plays for Lebanon when he's also American, born and raised, and could easily take the 'easy' money and points by playing for the US, and getting the wildcards, and funding, and press attention etc etc etc

But chooses not to

Interestingly his family returned to Lebanon aged 6 and he learned to play tennis there, before moving back to the States for his tennis. The rest of his family still live there.

We're going all the way: Jack takes it to a fifth against Mariano Navone.

Sorry Jon, crossed posts. I've just caught the last half set and Jack of course looked okay but apparently it's about 24 degree out there and we know J has a history of struggling at such temperatures.

I've only seen a few moments but his fitness looks fine. His game less so, a mixture of great shots with lower than average. The word cobwebs springs to mind

Well done Jack. A hold from 15:40 down bodes well.
