It seems that Jack retired after losing the first two sets.  Clearly, the 5 setters have had an impact on his body.  I'd be interested to know whether it was general fatigue or something more specific.

Have a great Suinday everyone!

It appears it was his ongoing hip problem, and he is now going to take a few weeks off to try and sort it out before Indian Wells.

Exactly what I would have recommended.

Beeb report.  Describes the hip problem as a "ticking time bomb".   cry

Well Novak beats Carlos in 4, despite a pretty poor first serve percentage in the last set. First person he goes to over to is Andy, who seems a little passive. Maybe up too late!

I find it so hard rooting against a player Andy is currently so involved with. But given that player is Djokovic, it's compulsory.

Once again fakes injury when losing and picks imaginary fights with the crowd before playing amazing tennis. Predictable and annoying.

I'm more interested in whether Nojo went over to Andy after the first set and what might have been said to turn it around.

Oh yes for sure it was Andy's coaching that made the difference.

Didn't see this result coming at all.
