Also, there's a funny story on Madi's wiki page

Seemingly, no one in her family plays tennis

But she was four years old, and the TV was on, with Wimbledon

(and the reader expects the next line to be: "and I saw tennis and said, THAT's what I want to do !!!")

BUT the story actually went:

Madi: "Oh, daddy - look at all those pretty dresses - I love those dresses - I want a pretty white dress like that!"

Dad: "well, my girl, if you want a dress like that, you have to acutally play tennis"

And the rest, as they say, is history

 Quite,  Serene was just awful.  Atrocious behaviour during  and at the end of that final. Naomi was very brave but i'm sure  it profoundly affected her - especially as Serene had been her idol.
