Again, several players here really impressed me. Much as I like Julians progress and Megan looks a real star, neither quite did it for me as a player of the season - Megan's time will come, so may Julians.

Billy - verge of the top 100, great continued progress and what a summer he had in the grass season, that was a joy to see

Henry - possibly the worlds top doubles player now, won Wimbledon, several 250 titles and the Tour Finals final was something.

Mika - as US Open title at her age and an ITF title. great achievements and she will win this PoS award one day!

Sonay - I rememer the early season and she was being criticised here for not playing enough or doing well enough; well that came around and winning the 250 title in Tunisia and 100 in Shrewsbury with an 85% record will no doubt get some peoples votes.

Again, all are deserving but it was Henry's Wimbledon title (with a little help from Harri H!) that really caught my imagination and, let's not forget, of the several slam winners, a mens or womens doubles and at Wimbledon, outstrips most of the others apart from a singles title. So ,Henry gets my vote

So tempted to vote for Billy given his progress but went for Henry Patton. It wasn't so long ago he was playing Challengers. Now he's a Wimbledon Champion.

Glad you voted, Bob, and Henry is a good call!

This group may not have had the very top players (both GB number ones in the other group) but this has got some real depth. Feel this should be a very competitive group, indeed both will be.

Thanks mdewey, Sonay is certainly going to be one of the challengers for this title, that is for sure. Out of the 12 left, I think up to 8 could be deserving of the PoS title, and it is going to be an interesting battle to see what the board as a whole think!

I voted for Sonay, such a gutsy year. From hospital bed in April 2024 to the top 100. Very impressive.

I'm going to have to think about this for a while - it is one of three in BOTH semis.

This one is from Messrs Patten & Harris and Ms Kartal.
