In the matches today we have:

Mens singles QF- Alfie plays Egberink of NL; Gordon plays de la Puente of Spain, seeded 3. Tough for Gordon but Alfie should win
Quad singles QF - Greg plays Vink, top seed; Andy plays Woodman. Greg is a heavy underdog, Andys match is probably a 50/50 call - Woodman won last time out when they played in Melbourne, Andy is higher ranked.

Mens doubles SF - Alfie and Gordon play Houdet and Miki and should win
Womens doubles SF - Lucy and Griffioen play second seeded Li and Wang, Could be close but the Chinese should win
Quad doubles QF - Greg and Woodman play Sasson and Vink, the top seeds.

Alfie and Alfie/Gordon should hope to get through and Andy has a decent shout.

Andy is a set all in a close match, as expected. Alfie and Gordon just started

Alfie won in straight sets and , great to see , Andy won in 3 sets and also progressed to the semis!

Singles semis therefore are:

Mens - Alfie v Gustavo Fernandez and Takito Oda v Martin de la Puente - the big 4!

Quad - Andy versus Sam Schroder and Vink v Sasson. Andy the only non seed in those 4.

Our junior boys, Ruben and Lucas John, both lost their semis. As did Greg Slade lose his quad doubles semi.

But Alfie and Gordon lead and should proceed to the final; Lucy and partner are then up next.
