It was close though, they were almost out!

So, Alfie and Gordon and Greg+ into doubles finals, and Alfie and Greg into singles semis.

A step too far for Greg as he loses in straight sets to Sam Schroder. Quad doubles final for him tomorrow.

Commentators said it will be in the morning. I really hope they've got that wrong - I'm not back from church till about 1pm.

I guess they want it done before the mens singles final? Did they say which court it is on? Probably court one, Id love if it got centre court one day but guess they wont risk that with the wheels etc?

I don't think they said which court. I'm sure it won't be centre, yes, most likely Court 1 I'd have thought too.

Don't forget that the main singles finals are scheduled for 4pm, with doubles finals on at the normal start time of 1:00. (Saturday already announced for centre only). I'm sure that the wheelchair events will be on No 1 court, although I'm not sure where the junior finals will be.

The BBC have given the wheelchair events decent coverage this year, my instinct is theyd still want to have it not clash, particularly as a Brit is in the wheelchair final. Even if it is only on iplayer.

Presumably Alfie and Gordons doubles will also be at 11 on court one, avoiding a clash with Julian and Lloyd, at least for most of it. A 2 hour window could actually be tight in mens wheelchair doubles !

Saturday action has Alfie and Gordon at 11 on court one and then Greg + on court three second match for the quad doubles
