Andy v Vink (1) - quad singles SF

Alfie/Gordon (1) v Miki/Ratzlaff - mens doubles SF

Alfie has beaten Gordon at the last 2 French Opens in straight sets at the same stage of the event.

Vink thrashed Andy for the loss of 2 games in the AO last 8.

Andy went down 4 and 4 to Vink, gave him a decent game but not to be.

In the other semi, Sasson has just made it a set all against Schroder, looks a good match. Sasson won the event last year, but Schroder is 2nd seed. Interesting to see if Sasson can do it again!

In the mens last 8, Tokito Oda (top seed) is a set all against Daniel Caverzaschi of Spain. Hope the Spaniard can keep this up!

Alfie and Gordon will be on next

And Alfie beats Gordon 2 and 4. Well done to him and into the semis.

The two doubles semis for ALfie/Gordon and Andy+ are coming up later

Mens singles semis match Alfie up against long time rival Gustavo Fernandez, and Tokito Oda versus Martin de la Puente.

Both matches could be epics

Andy + went out in doubles 10-7, leaving just Alfie in mens singles and Alfie/Gordon in mens doubles left in.

Alfie and Gordon won their semi, in 2 sets, and into the final to play either Oda/Houdet or Caverzachi/Fernandez - not sure what score that match is currently Houdet and Oda lead 6-2 3-4

Although not British, the quad doubles title goes to top seeds Sasson (Israel) and Vink (NL). That makes two different quad doubles winners in the two slams so far (Andy and Sam Schroder in Aus) and so makes Wimbledon interesting to see who come out top dogs.

In the first mens singles semi, Tokito Oda beat Martin de la Puente 4 and 4. Looks like it was a good tussle, but Oda is so hard to beat. Awaits the winner of Alfie's semi in the final

What an epic mens singles semi between Alfie and Gustavo. It is currently 9 points all in the final set tie break. Come on Alfie!

Oh wow, Alfie takes the match tie break, 12 -10.

What a day for British tennis as Alfie joins Hannah and Joe and Neal in a final, plus Alfie and Gordon from yesterday into the mens wheelchair doubles!

Following the tense score-watching for the men's doubles, I then had to endure the tense score-watching for Alfie's match!
Never in doubt, of course!!!!!
Fab - well done Alfie!

Alfie and Gordons opponents came courtesy of a retirement as Oda and Houdet progressed without a ball being hit today, Fernandez and Caverzachi retiring after being a set up. Suspect Fernandez was shattered physically and mentally after his semifinal singles loss to Alfie.
