I voted for Paul at the time he had his ATP sf and was shocked he couldn't get a top 2 place for such an outstanding achievement so I'm voting for him again

Unluckily for Paul, he had his best result in a month when so many other players also had outstanding months.

You can see what he was up against that month here: https://britishtennis.activeboard.com/t70866665/june-2024-player-of-the-month-vote-final/?sort=oldestFirst&page=1#comment-70867734

Let's hope he gets a bit more appreciation this time, because he did have some great  achievements across the season.

Well, hes equal first now - albeit on 2 votes versus lots of 1 votes! Not many votes yet though, could be a slow one!

Emily WS for me. Many of the others have done great things this season but she gets my vote for sheer dogged persistence.

one that is probably going to remain wide open. Be interesting to see if all the players get a vote by the end.

Remember, this closes Friday morning early, so dont miss out! Not many votes so far (16 to date, December POM has twice as many at same point!) so hoping theres some action to come tomorrow!

Anyone can vote and for any reason - no rules on the wildcards - and two players qualify for player of the season. We have a leader but around a million other players still on with a shot here!

And say if you vote and for who, it attracts others to the vote, it really does!

If youve not voted and arent sure of voting or even what this is. The board has a player of the season vote which comprises all the seasons top Britons from each month plus other top players of the year. This vote is to see which two players join the 26 already qualified. 36 people voted last year, 17 this year, so please give it a go!

My vote went to Millie - very good progress from a promising youngster. It is too early to say how stratospheric her career will go, but I think she should be a name to watch for the next couple of years, and she is definitely on the radar after her performances in 2024.

Sad to see that Heather didn't make the list automatically and Mingge has made good progress and would be worthy of a place. i mostly follow the women's game, so any vote from me will display that bias.

Glad you voted Andy and most of us have biases - the more who vote, the more they get ironed out and the result is more representative of the whole!

Not sure if all have seen it, the overall list of those qualified is in this link, a few posts up from the bottom
