Well, Quinn has the measure of the Brits - but cant say thats not disappointing for Evo

I wonder if the next couple of matches will be the key to Evo's season - success opening up a rise in top 100 again, failure prompting further decline

I absolutely agree that it is disappointing scoreline for Dan - the match only lasted 68 minutes. The stats on the ATP site state that he won only 53% of points on his first serve (Quinn won 86%)  and that he didn't generate a single break point.

Is Dan working with a coach at the moment?

Obviously, Evo is getting older, but is it simply that, or are there other parts of his game that aren't quite clicking? I haven't managed to watch him much this year.

Without check stats to support me, I believe Evo's been one for not missing too many tournaments, so he may be suffering form loss as a result of not playing many matches, and could do with an easy run of matches to get his mojo back

Jake wins the first set 6-2, so if he can keep this up hopefully we won't be saying What A Plonker after the match - at least not about him.

Happy New Year fellow forum members!

Apart from Dzumhur, 3rd seed in top half, Jake is the only seed left in and he is in the bottom half.

Jake could well take out his career high of 89 this week. Currently at 87 and not many can overtake him (although his next opponent Eubanks is one of them).
