Katherine was twice a break up in third, had a match point on her own serve at 5-4 but didn't manage to take it and the match then gradually slipped away. The match lasted 3hrs 21mins.

Oh, that's a real pity. 

A R2 win would have taken her into the top 800 for the first time. Probably won't manage that now but should certainly be enough to take out her CH 829.
