GSM Hrbaty, 6-2 in final set. He has a great record in 5 setters. That could be coz he plays so many though!
So that's 2 down, two to go for Andy's competitors. Not holding out much hope of Djokovic slipping up now.........
.....come on Novak, think: this is all too good to be true, that's Fernando Gonzalez at the other end, there's no way that you're this good.... now's the time you usually slip up......start to double fault....miss the easy shots.......

The table is Finally updated for yesterday, apologies that it took so long.
Rob and Jonnylad you're both doing a grand job, Come on Gonzalez!!
Unfortunately our friend Mr. Stepanek will not be meeting any more of Andy's competitors until rd4, where he could meet Alberto Martin. Do you think Stepanek works as well on Tim's competitors?

He'd better, we need him to see off Benneteau, and then Martin, if the Rochus brothers can't come good for us there.
Play suspended for rain. Djokovic leading 2-1 in 4th, on serve. Gonzalez didn't want to stop (its being shown on the live feed). From the game I saw, Gonzalez doesn't look as on fire as he is at times, I hope he can re-group and come out with all weapons working!

Its sad we have to sharpen pins for Novak, coz I like him. I want him and Andy to overtake the likes of Haas and Gonzalez so, because of my long term attitude....................................................................................................................................................
I've updated my table/post for the end of today. There are still a few rd2 matches to finish but none of them involve ANdy's competitors.
Today wasn't bad, Andy didn't lose any places. However both Djokovic and Martin won so many pins in them in the next round please. They both need to reach the quarters to overtake and neither of them have hard draws (Martin has Roddick's 5th seed route to the quarters, whilst Djokovic took out the 9th seed today and has Blake, the 8th seed, not known as a clay court specialist).
There are also a few players hovering at the top of Tim's table (see relevant thread in general discussion) who could damage Andy's ranking if they go deep into the second week.
